This place is such a gem!! Really phenomenal. The house itself is a traditional konaği and so beautiful and comfortable. Cengis and Eyyüp made us feel so welcome and at home while still giving us our privacy and space. It's a family run place and you can feel the love in everything they do. They were really so wonderful. Cengis let us wash our clothes for free in his washing machine and gave us such excellent tips for what to see and do in Gaziantep. He recommended a backlava place that had the most best backlava we have ever tasted, we're still dreaming about it. It's just a few blocks away from the hotel. Meeting people and helping them comes so naturally to Cengis and Eyyüp. Definitely stay here if you can!
I really enjoyed my stay here and it being my first visit to Gaziantep Cengiz and his family couldn’t have made it any more comfortable for me! The food was delicious it was my first authentic Turkish breakfast with local homemade ingredient’s, Gaziantep style! They gave me really good recommendations and some of their History which was interesting. I’d recommend staying a few extra days and exploring a little more. He’ll help you out! I will return
Great location, great rooms, great breakfast and definitely great people! I am so happy to have discovered this family owned and run gem. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was amazing. The conversations around the courtyard table were so special. Suggestions and recommendations for local food, places of interest and daily tours were invaluable. Thank you so much to Eyup… you made our stay a memorable one! We will be back.
This wonderfully restored mansion is run by Cenk and his family, and I can't say enough about how beautiful a place this is and how wonderful and kind this family has been to us. The mansion has been restored to an eight room hotel, and even though all the rooms are large and comfortable, the hotel itself feels cozy and intimate. It is located in the historic part of the city and walking distance to most place you want to go. We stayed here for two weeks and enjoyed a delicious, complimentary breakfast every morning; a comfortable outdoor patio for relaxing in the evening, and, of course, the hospitality of Cenk and his family. (If, like us your English is a lot better than your Turkish, you will appreciate that many members of the family and staff speak English very well.)
A family owned boutique hotel where they make everyone feel like part of the family. It’s a charming and comfortable hotel located in the old city and walking distance to main attractions. Breakfast in the courtyard is amazing. Conversation with the family and other guests is even better. Ask for a visit to the cave.
